07.07.2009
Hi there! After having a great time on stage during spring and summer 2009, we will now focus on writing and recording new tracks for the upcoming Leech album. We anticipate that we will be able to provide you with the new stuff sometimes between spring and autumn 2010. Please note that we won't play many concerts before the end of this year due to some recent or near wonderful happenings in our private life. We hope that you stay tuned and that we will see you at our shows again. We would like to take this opportunity once again to say thank you all for your great support. We appreciate it very much.

Hey folks, many thanks to everybody who came to see us live with God Is An Astronaut. It was a great time and a big pleasure to support this terrific band! Thank you also for listening to our music and supporting us. We are very sorry that we couldn't play at the B72 in Vienna. It was just impossible due to the stage size, but we'll come back! Check out our tour pictures on myspace or facebook!

Hi! Sorry for not updating the news section for so long! We should certainly pay more attention to this page here and not only focus on our myspace or facebook site. However, for regular updates, always check myspace or facebook too. So what is currently going on? Right now, we are playing 6 shows supporting GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT in Germany, Austria and Switzerland: Check out the concert section! We plan to take a little break from live gigs after these shows and try to concentrate on writing new tracks for our new album. Ok, no more news to tell, but: thanks for all your support!

We are very happy to announce the release of the split EP with our friends from Long Distance Calling from Germany! The split EP is called “090208” and will be released September 26th both as CD and LP through Viva Hate Records. We will take this opportunity to play some live shows together with Long Distance Calling in Switzerland, Germany and Austria - check out the Calendar or MySpace. We would be very pleased to see you all there! And oh yes: The music magazine Visions will present one of our tracks from “The Stolen View” album on their October-issue sampler. This will be an edited version of “The Man with the Hammer” (now shrunken down to 4.5 minutes…). So, keep your eyes open for the October issue of Visions!!! Besides, we are still working on new material for a new full-length Leech album, which we anticipate to release next year. So far, Zanzibar.

Heya, finally back with some breaking news: We have joined the roster of Viva Hate Records, a fine Label based in Berlin. We are very happy to tell you that our latest album “The Stolen View”, which has already been released last autumn in Switzerland, will soon be released in Germany (and other European countries) through Viva Hate Records (release in October 2008). In addition, we are working on a split release with our friends from Long Distance Calling, one of our most favorite instrumental bands. The split record will contain two tracks from each band. We will have one brand new track on it, plus one track taken from our latest album “The Stolen View”. The split will be released by Viva Hate Records on September 26th 2008, and this will be followed by several live shows with Long Distance Calling in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in October 2008 (venues tba soon). For now, we are working on new stuff too, and we will also play another three open-air shows (check out Calendar or myspace) in August this year. We hope to see you there, and will give the outermost to feed your ears with endless feedback.

24.2.2008:
Long time no hear folks! So, this is what’s going on these days: We have completed our Switzerland club tour with the shows at the Böröm Pöm Pöm in Oberentfelden and Le Noveau Monde in Fribourg. The Böröm show (what a name for a club!) was supported by LONG DISTANCE CALLING, a fantastic instrumental band from Germany. Check out their stuff, it will flabbergast you! Then passing the Roeschtigraben for another great instrumental evening together with Monkey3.

Now, we have moved all our stuff back to the Leech Cave, where it will stay for a while. The next Swiss shows to come will be the festival gigs (to be announced in the calendar soon). Until then, we will work hard on new material and plan our lives around it a little bit.

There is even more news: “The Stolen View” will be released in Germany soon! More about this later...

For now: Stay tuned, have your eyes closed and your ears open.

2.1.2008:
First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY! We hope you enjoyed these festive days with your friends, families, and pets. All the ones out there, we want to thank you for your great support in 2007; it was a special year for us and we had lots of fun on stage, backstage, and “bar-stage”. We will go on and on and on in 2008, that’s for sure, with new tracks in our bags and more feedback in our amplifiers. There will be upcoming shows in February, all over Switzerland, where we hope to see you again (check out Calendar or MySpace).

To go back a little: Much has happened since our last News entry in mid-December. We had a very good time at the Grabenhalle, St.Gallen. It was the Priest’s night, some might remember, and others might recall it as the almighty fart’s night, aight! Then Bad Bonn, Düdingen: Besides superb dinner and hospitality, a truly experimental evening with Blinde Kinder and Strotter Inst., wow! Check out what they would be able to do with your old record players, telephone cables, and guitar pedals. Amazing! Then straight into Zurich, the true Capitol of Switzerland and host of the almighty Abart Music Club, where we played with Kid Ikarus. The Abart show was definitely one of our best (if not the one), performance- and sound-wise, and the crowd was something else too! And equally important: everybody reading these lines should now check out Kid Ikarus, their instrumental music is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! So, many thanks to you, Abart, Kid Ikarus, and to all the lost souls who found their way to the club just before Christmas, with or without Christmas presents. Full with sausages, Glühwein, and chocolate, another wonderful instrumental evening at Gaswerk, Winterthur, together with Duara. Here, we would like to say a big personal thank you to Raschi, the Queen of Spaghetti 5 o’clock in the morning. Finally, approaching the end of 2007, our New Years Eve gig at the Ox, Zofingen. We were and still are speechless, this evening was absolutely fantastic, and as far as we can remember, we had never such a great time starting a new year with what we like so much: Music. It was so lovely to see many of our oldest friends and families: This is for you: the older you get, the more you rock! Happy New Year with feedback in your ear.

Stay tuned, have your eyes closed and your ears open.

What can we say??? It's always a big pleasure to arrive in at the Sedel! So far the best show - good show, very cool crowd and the most incredible food on earth!!! We almost could not play because our bellies started to burst, at least the one of Wum Pum da Sugaman...Goose - and of course: Big disco time!!! Lucerne, we love you forever!!!

10.12.2007:
Long way down over the 'Roeschtigraben' to beautiful Geneva. Really a psychedelic evening with Monkey 3 from Lausanne! Maximum respect to the sleeping human falafel, mocca yoghurt and dried figs - merci beaucoup Genève!

Nov 29 2007:
Sunny and sweaty wintertime in Basel! We almost dried out and at least died three times on stage past Friday in...it was so hot that even our soundman was sweating all over (usually he is sleeping during the show...). But it was worth it!!! Thank god that there are cell phones, Falafel men in the morning and Hippie beds in Basel - tschoess!

Nov 20 2007:
'The Man with the Drink in the Eye' will be called a track on our next album...probably!? Chur was cool, REALLY cool! But nice and pretty rock n' roll - big respect to'The Guapos' from Belgium, they just rocked the house!!! What else? Well, high five for the Selig crew, table soccer in the room and of course Musigwaelle 531
Chur keep on bowling hard!

Nov 15 2007:
Mercedes is for loosers!!!
First gig in Lausanne yesterday and it was a surprising good one after all the 'fun' we had during this day... Car breakdown, no cymbals, no sticks and Tobi wasn't even on stage...it was a day for 'skier' as 'les romandes' say...and they were right, there was snow all over Lausanne...
Thank you Lausanne!

Oct 22 2007:
New tracks online on October 26th 2007. Check it!

Oct 20 2007:
Welcome. It has taken a while, but it's finally happening again. We present to you our new album 'The Stolen View' which has been recorded this spring, with supacomputa Dave Hofmann at Somarecords, Zofingen. The album contains six tracks, all instrumental, and will be released on October 26th 2007. We are going to celebrate. Oh yes. You’re invited to join us there at KIFF, Aarau. After this we will be playing at a number of venues throughout Switzerland (check out upcoming shows). It’s going to be noisy again…
